0: the next 1 damage that would be dealt to target friendly ship is dealt to guardian instead, as long as they are in the same region.
All other damage dealt to guardian by ships is prevented.
So the way we see it a Guardian is undestructable by enemy ship damage.
If I dont want to activate the O: ability all damage to him made by ships will be prevented... is this right ?
Thanks a lot

Re:Guardian question - 2006/11/26 12:08This question is in the Questions And Answers section. But yes, the Guardian can NOT be damaged by ships.
This makes it very powerfull and a prime target for news cards.

Re:Guardian question - 2006/11/28 03:32keep in mind that the attacker doesn't need to destroy your ships to do damage to your starbase. If you don't destroy enough of the attacking ships it doesn't matter how great the guardian is.Blatherskite Caldari Propagandist

Exactly, which makes the Guardian a stupidly strong ship to hold outer regions though.

Re:Guardian question - 2006/11/28 13:34For an outer region the Guardian itself is perfect on its own, no need for a Punisher, you just have to protect it properly.

Re:Guardian question - 2006/12/11 15:07Just remeber that a simple Veteran's Premature can take the Guardian out. Also, direct damage can wipe it out. Use Guardian to soak 4 then they play Day of Retribution. Guardian isn't completely invincible, just mostly. Still, its the perfect defense for an outer region.During an argument about the color of Amarr: The Executioner does NOT look like a yellow chicken. I think i prefer dual Oneiros, even though 2 x Assembly II ships is hard to get out. You're basically trading immunity from direct damage (lots of applicable cards) for susceptiblilty to Mutiny (one card)...

Re:Guardian question - 2006/12/12 04:30ya keep in mind if the guardian takes enoughdamage to reduce its shields to 0(by its damage redirection, and not directly) it still dies.
