The deck is designed to maximise the chances of hitting a turn 3 Cormarant + HE combo, if this doesn't work however it can normally pump out some fast ships and hit hard or hide behind Insomother and Metropolis till its time to go hit thier base with the Cormarant, Catalyst and Coercer.
The news selection is there to keep your own ships alive and remove one of thier key ships at the right time. The Institutes are there to combat any early starbase structures that your opponent may play.
Thats about it really, the deck is not fancy but it hits fast and very hard.

If you didnt get caught by the turn 3 Cormorant + HE, then it would get you with the Institute by nerfing your Starbase Structures shield bonuses. Great deck idea, and contruction. I know what its like to play and it takes real skill to know what to keep in your opening hand.
