4x Ibis 4x Bantam 4x Badger 2x Badger Mark II 4x Kestrel 4x Cormorant 3x Moa 3x Scorpion
4x Ship Computer Glitch 4x Stubborn Mechanic
Basic idea is to mine as much as I can first couple of turns till I get a Big Boy out. The news are for keeping my miners/traders safe. Kestral for home region. Laboratories are so those useless miners end up doing something mid game! BTW...the Laboratories work well with lots of card draw(Bantam,Badger, Venal Tower), and w/ Sansha's Nation. The +2 shield isn't bad either Let me know what you think!

Re:Caldari Digger - 2006/11/27 07:23The same question I ask to all potential mining decks, before getting into any questions about the deck itself:
How do you deal with me laying and taking Khanid Kingdom on turn 2?

Winning the coin toss always helps but it's not much of a game-plan.
Personally I was planning to set up all my minning operations turn 1 but that's an entirely different deck

Re:Caldari Digger - 2006/11/27 14:53Well, obviously The Khanid Kingdom is a real problem. The answer (not that it's a great answer) is to start mining first turn w/ Ibis and whatever location presents itself. More often than not a Pyroxeres, andc hopefully a Scordite (if fate is kind, w/ the Mulligan) Best case: 6 isk on turn 2, buy in bantam or badger...maybe another Ibis. 3rd turn....maybe have to pay u isk...but at this point my isk generation should be ok. Like I said not a great answer to the question, but it can, and has, worked. Also, going first helps
As a note: The first hand draw and mulligan is very important to this and every other deck. As always I draw for the first and second turns. To many times I see people keeping cards in there opening hand that they can only use mid/late game, bad mistake I think.Blatherskite Caldari Propagandist
