Why Bantam? Cantrip is nice, but 4isk for a 1/3 is a bit meh.
You have a lot of high assembly ships in, did you not find yourself wishing for cheaper heavy hitters (ie, more destroyers instead of Ravens/Basilisks?)
Why Power Shortages when you dont have Info At A Cost in yet?
Not sure about some of it, but looks like a good solid deck to me, congrats on your win!

Re:no new is good news deck ver. 1 - 2006/12/13 19:33I went with the bantam for the card draw and for the cost of 4 isk I could get a ship out at the same time.
A lot of people are playing with structures in our group, power shortage seemed like a good idea to slow them down and to tear down there defences.
and the combo for a raven with patrol 5 and a basilisk that can heal the damage they were meant to be together.

Re:no new is good news deck ver. 1 - 2006/12/15 14:42Overall a good deck. The lonetrek can speed up those bigger ships of yours. I have seen this deck in action and it is pretty vicious.
Only suggestion would be to switch Power Shortage with Mind Clash. Power removes the shield strength and ISK generation for 1 turn for 2 ISK. Mind Clash will remove all abilities for 3 turns and give you an extra card when it leaves play. Its a perfect card for tieing up Moon Harvesters, EMP Minefields and Sentry Guns for a couple of turns. Another card you may consider is Bad News. I don't think it would work well with 6 ISK, though. You have much better things to spend your ISK on (I.E. Paying double for Ravens and Basilisks).
Looking forward to this deck killing me on Saturday!During an argument about the color of Amarr: The Executioner does NOT look like a yellow chicken. It looks more like a....horseshoe crab. ~JP (Local gamer)

Re:no new is good news deck ver. 1 - 2007/05/08 18:17RRF is ideal for use in a deck built around stuff being in your scrapheap,E.g. mining with Arkanor and Ginungagap, which makes your arkanor cost effectively 1, and also Un-slavedogs-able and immune to Armageddon project. Another use would be with Trial and Error, to get the relevant cards into your Scrapheap. And don't forget, it's also a card draw!
