Captain Jean-Luc Discard - 2008/03/16 21:57 Exiled really powered up Feed on the Week, so I built a deck around this. It's especially suited for multiplayer.

Captain Jean-Luc Discard

Tower/Regions
Guristas Tower (or Venal Tower)
Society of Conscious Thought (or Lonetrek)
Sansha's Nation
Vale of the Silent

Ships
4 Coercer
3 Scorpion
4 Concord Sentinel

Locations
4 Veldspar
3 Star Chart Enterprises
2 Dark-Ochre
4 Scordite
2 Sansha's Scout Outpost
2 Guristas Hidden Complex

Structures
1 Black Ops Command

Characters
2 Thon Eney

News
4 Feed On The Weak
4 Faulty Implant Manufacturer
3 Market Crash
3 Market Fluctuations
3 Black Market
3 Exposed Plans
3 Malevolent Betrayal
2 Security Breach

[Market of 56 cards]

The idea of this deck is to get a 1st/2nd turn Feed on the Weak out (1st turn with starchart + scord combo. it's worth doing an aggressive mulligan for this)
Having a Black Market in your hand almost always ensures you can pull a Feed on the Weak out.

Once the Feed is in place you can start griefing everyone the next turn with Faulty's and Market Fluctuations. (In the 4 player game I played, I had 2 Coercers assembled by turn 3 and a Scorpion at turn 5, at which point the game was pretty much decided).

The Concord ships are very nice to stick in Vale of the Silent, because if you're attacked there, it means you'll get a huge card advantage against the guy attacking (+2 for you, -1 for him).

Guristas Tower may be neccessary because you will not usually get a ship out that early, and this deck has no defenses besides the Black Ops Command, which is a nice alternative 2nd turn card for pinging rookie mining ships to death

This deck can be especially evil in Alliance games if combined with an economic warfare deck.

As usual, comments and suggestions welcome
