Suggestion: Player Locator / New member forum - 2006/10/30 17:45As this game is officially launched today i think it's very important that people can find fellow players in their country (or state). Although i did read the 'search profile' thread, i still want to propose this.
There are 2 ways to find another player
1. Add Country (or state)to the "search profile". In order to make this efficient, i think you should make the 'country' part of the sign-up members a drop down box, as now there are people from the US, United States and US (the same for England, UK and United Kingdom and Netherlands, The Netherlands and Holland).
2. In the 'Community' part of the forum, make a new forum called "new player" or "Player Locator". In this, for each country make a seperate thread where players can introduce themselves and tell in which city they play. That way, in addition to finding people in the same country, a player can actually read if a player is active and playing or just registered and posting on the forum.
I think option 2 is preferable, although i understand this will take more effort from an administrator's point of view. Hope you can do something with this.First learn the meaning of what you say, and then speak. --Epictetus
