Bad Retailer - The Dragon's Hoard - 2007/03/26 16:29I purchased cards from The Dragon's Hoard in Staunton, VA, USA. The owner/manager was rude, had no sense of customer service, and ripped me off.
I purchased a box of starter decks and 2 boxes of boosters for a hefty sum. He sent me opened merchandise in slightly damaged boxes. I told him I wanted unopened merchandise, at first he refused to get new merchandise for me, so agreed for me to return the damaged items for a refund. I sent them, then he sits on the product for a week, when I call to find out where my refund is, he hadn't even opened the box I sent to him; then makes an excuse that he is looking for....replacement merchandise. I had to be very persistent with this loser, and finally got a refund from him for most of what I returned to him at my own cost, but he refused to refund the total of what I had payed for what I returned to him.
I have never experienced a more stupid, rude, and shady character up to this point; and never would have expected it from the owner of a retail store.
Remove this retailer from your list; I am surprised he is not out of business already with the way he treats customers.
