It's part of the message board code. If you check out their site, then you'll find it is fairly well documented. I'm not sure I like it, but then, I'm a php purist Plus, it doesn't run quite as fast as I'd expect, which is funny because I think it's running with some ajax in there as well.
Although, I could be completely wrong about that. I've never been formally introduced to ajax.=/= Coverguy

How much more could it be writing than any other bbs?
It could also be the machine as well. In truth, the speed is fine, I just think the build order of the page is disagreeing with my expectations.
