"The Exiled" Starterdecks in German - 2008/01/18 16:19Over the last few weeks I've translated the 4 new Starter Decks into German. I've done this because most of the time when I found folks interested in the game it turned out that they didn't understand English. I imagine that I'm not alone with this and want you benefit from this as well.
The Sheets are A4 sized and have only a margin of 0.9cm left and right. Make sure your printer supports this and that you disable the automated size adaption in adobe readers print dialog. The cards should be exactly right the way they are. I have only translated the card abilities.
I left the names and most other expressions be to improve interoperability (and make it less work for me to translate)
I'm not a linguist. My translations may sound weird from time to time but should get the point across.
I removed all Lore and all descriptions of Command abilities and Template abilities (Kamikaze etc.) from the cardtext. Space was precious enough and since these abilities always do the same i suggest a cheatsheet be placed on the table.
I also rephrased some cards that I felt would benefit from it: ECM Turret and Guristas Plunderer mainly.
Front side of Starbases are not included since I imagined these to be slipped into sleeves in front of the real cards.
