Heaven ? - 2006/10/30 07:21Heaven: When an enemy ship goes on the scrapheap from play, you gain ISK(3).
When I attack Heaven and destroy my opponents last ship there, and I now control the outer region, do I recieve the 3 ISK when his ship goes to the scrapheap or do I not control it until after his last ship goes to the scrapheap? Thanks.Blatherskite Caldari Propagandist

Re:Heaven ? - 2006/10/30 10:19As I see it you control heaven after the opponents ship is put onto the scrapheap - so no isk gain for that shipkill.
(As you are not controller of Heaven when the damage pile is resolved - the effect isnīt placed on the pile)

Re:Heaven ? - 2006/10/30 11:54I agree with Ertai, you don't control a region untill all your enemy ships have left it and your ship is the only one in it.
Thus you don't gain the benefits of the region before it's destroyed.

Re:Heaven ? - 2006/10/30 20:32I had always played with the rule that you don't gain the abilities of a region unless you controlled it at the beginning of your turn. So no matter what order or regions you resolve the combat in, it won't affect anything that turn.

Re:Heaven ? - 2006/10/30 21:06You don't gain Heaven's benefit in this case (you don't control it 'til after the opponent's ships are destroyed), but you do immediately gain the benefit of outer regions normally. You don't need to insert "If you control this region at the beginning of your turn" on any regions. The cards that are meant to have that limitation already do. Those that don't are free to take advantage of as soon as you move in. Zack Walters EVE: The Second Genesis Organized Play Coordinator White Wolf | CCP North America
