Observatory - 2007/10/04 09:38 the way i understand this card is that every ship in your homeregion which are undocked gains +1/+1. Is this the correct understanding or does the ship have to have the patroling command active to recieve +1/+1?

Re:Observatory - 2007/10/04 09:51The ships have to be patrolling via activating the patrol command. If a ship does not have patrol or it is not activated then it will not gain the bonus.We shall seed the stars with our scions and reap that harvest.

Bastion of Blood, Combined Harvest, and CONCORD Swat Officer are a few solid options. The Swat Officer is a solid defensive card to begin with, and with Bastion of Blood it's invincible. 2-3 Observatories turns it into an invincible ship with 3+ attack, which isn't bad at all.

Bastion of Blood does play nicely with Concord Swat Officer, but I would honestly rather play a card that gave CSO additional patrol (either a pilot with patrol, or the news that adds +1 to commands) and leave the CSO defending your home region. -Ryuteki, Owner of the Rules!
