Question, About command abilities - 2008/07/07 03:50I'm sorry to day , I am not sure about this and did not see it in rule book, but doesnt mean its not their.
When you use certin commnad abilities in combat do they Deactivate,
Example I put my ship on ambush. when a batle happens i know that it deals its dmg before the withdrawl phase, at that time do i deactivate ambush or does it stay an active command for another battle if we all survive and have another
Thanks

Re:Question, About command abilities - 2008/07/07 06:54Don't be sorry. Everyone misses things sometimes. Up to a few days I didn't know that a Battle in a Home Region has to be resolved before the other Battles...
Command abilities stay active until they are explicitly deactivated as part of your turn or because of an ability (from Ship Computer Glitch for example).

Re:Question, About command abilities - 2008/08/04 04:39Not only does Ambush et al stay active, but Ambush can be used each and every turn of the battle (for those rare battles that run multiple rounds).-Ryuteki, Owner of the Rules! Re:Question, About command abilities - 2008/10/08 02:26i have always played that a ship cant activate commands after warping anywhere, but is that the case? or can you activate straight after moving or being fully assembled?

Re:Question, About command abilities - 2008/10/08 06:59Ships can activate their commands any time during your management phase unless they are attacking an enemy region.
Outside of your management phase they cannot activate commands unless some card explicitly allows it. (There's a news that does that and a pirate ship can activate one of it's command at the end of turn.)
