Constructed Tournament: London Sun 14th Oct? - 2007/09/04 18:44I've booked to run a V:TES CCG event at a pub in London on Sunday 14th October and I figure it's an opportunity to go back-to-back with an EVE event, assuming there's sufficient interest from the masses?
The provisional plan would be three 1-hour rounds and a final, starting at 12pm (when the pub opens), charging £3.00 a head entry for a few boosters for prizes. The venue is a Fullers pub which serves quality beer and food all day (alas no under-18s allowed).
What say ye everyone? If I can get a show of hands for 8 people or so I'll make it a definite...

I dunno if that's even significant (like if the two events are close to the same pool of players) but maybe just the one event would attract a good number of players rather than two events spreading them about...
But i've no idea what ur local scene is like, i'm probably talking out of my arse...

I'm not sure how many of them are interested. However the one thing they're *not* going to do is drop on a V:TES event to play something else...

That said it's about time we tried to get a monthly London tournament going. Are there other dates available or is the venue in quesiton a monthly thing?

Sure, no problem at all, it was just a thought. (And apols to the Cambridge guys.)

The pub is pretty free and easy. Unfortunately however it looks like there's no space in my diary to run another event until mid-December
