Constructed Tournament @ EVE Fanfest, - 2007/09/12 15:43 The EVE Fanfest is taking place in Reykjavik, Iceland on 1st-3rd November :

http://www.eve-online.com/fanfest/2007/

The schedule makes reference to CCG tournaments on the Thursday and the Friday but it doesn't provide many details.

Can the Powers That Be tell us more...?

Re:Constructed Tournament @ EVE Fanfest, - 2007/09/12 19:25 Yes, the lack of details is probably going to keep me from going as I think it might be impossible to get a passport on time now. I didn't want to book my flight without knowing what was in store for the CCG. (I don't play eve online) Blatherskite

Re:Constructed Tournament @ EVE Fanfest, - 2007/09/17 11:30 You can get US passports pritty quickly but it's more expensive. Check out http://travel.state.gov/passport/about/agencies/agencies_913.html:

There are a few Brits who are looking for an excuse to go (much easier/cheaper than getting to a US convention) but we need atleast a month's notice of prizes etc if we want to turn this into a big event.

Re:Constructed Tournament @ EVE Fanfest, - 2007/09/21 15:27 If you wanted to go on the cheap then you should've booked already

I'm guessing the prizes won't be quite as extravagant as at GenCon US, but I'm hoping there will be booster displays and some cash on the table.

I'm more worried about finding some way to get some practice in before I'm due to fly out...

Re:Constructed Tournament @ EVE Fanfest, - 2007/09/26 15:02 Ok well there's some news up:

http://www.eve-ccg.com/eve-ccg-at-fanfest.html

I have to say I'm rather disappointed that after the splash-out at GenCon US that there will be no cash prizes at all.

Foil sheets sound cool, but what does 'door prizes' mean exactly...? *scratches head*

DTee - I got your message but although I tried to respond I don't think you got my reply. Can you send me your e-mail so we can try that way...?

Re:Constructed Tournament @ EVE Fanfest, - 2007/10/17 14:49 *bump*

Nobody else going? Anyone else willing to help me practice/prep before I go? I'm keeping Sun 28th free to go through my decks etc. if anyone wants to meet up in London...?
