Which CCG's did you play(ed) before Eve? - 2006/10/30 18:06As i read a lot of other players played quite some other CCG's, i'm quite curioues what you all played and which CCG game you liked the best?
I myself played:
Magic (still play it sometimes) Legend of the Burning Sands (best flavor ever) Middle-Earth (Nicest art) Star-Wars CCG (Decei(ph)ver, worst publisher ever) Doom Town (poker wasn't that hot then) Battletech (because i liker the novels) Wheel of Time (don't know why i played that) Anachronism (interested in history of warriors) Netrunner (Cyberpunk rules) probably forgetting a few games...
I liked Netrunner the best as that game was so well balanced. I still pity that that game was put on hold by Wizards. I liked LBS too, because it was a very 'dark' Arabian Nights atmosphere.First learn the meaning of what you say, and then speak. --Epictetus

But for a long time I'd just buy a few starters of whatever was new and see if it was any good. I played a lot of really awful games that way, but found a few good ones too.
