Almost Speed Final Revision - 2006/12/05 14:11 Empiric Tower

Ginnungap
Molden Heath
Dam Torsad

x4 EMP Minefield

x1 Sisters of Eve
x2 Arkonor
x4 Slave Mines
x4 Interstellar Trade Post
x4 Veldespar

x4 Impariors
x4 Tormentors
x4 Crucifiers
x4 Punisher
x4 Coercer
x4 Gaurdian (Want to replace with 4 Augorors, only have 1)

x2 Hired Enforcers
x4 Stubborn Mechaniks
x3 Bad News

The x2 Hired seems pretty bad. Might want to replace 1 stubborn with another Hired.

Re:Almost Speed Final Revision - 2006/12/05 14:30 I have an almost identical deck at the moment, right down to the Arkonor. However, I dont run Impairors (Atrons instead), and I do run Guardians. I have no Bad News, 2 more Hired Enforcers, Damage Control instead of Mechanics, and a Mercenary Base in the deck too. My regions are Dam Torsad, Insmother, and SOCT.

So yeh....quite a few cards different, but a very similar concept. It's a great deck.

Oh, and I switch between all 3 starbases, with Holder Tower being the best generally (it's just too good....mmmmm, free shields + EMP minefields).

Re:Almost Speed Final Revision - 2006/12/06 15:13 Scratch the Impariors. I have Inquisitors instead. Damage control seems pretty good, except I like the kill all or draw in Bad News. I ran Holder but found it not to be extremely useful. I like the 11 shield and was using it for blitz protection. Problem was I never had the isk that early to do anything about it and I hated the 0 isk production. Emperic gives 10 shield and produces 1 isk. It also has a sweet ability, even if I only have 2 ships in my deck that can utilize it.

How do you run reclamation in your deck thats similar?

Re:Almost Speed Final Revision - 2006/12/07 10:27 Err, ignore the part about 3 starbases. I was getting confused with another deck

I run both Holder and Empiric, you're right.

Re:Almost Speed Final Revision - 2006/12/11 15:02 Yet another change. Switched the Interstellar trade posts with Probes. That gives me only 4 locations to play in my home, though. Not so sure I like that. First game I played went well, though. Debating switching out my stubborns for something else. There's been too many times where I wanted one, though. Bad News is awesome and I use it regularly, either to take away a Forsaken or to draw 3 cards. Also pretty good for recycling those Hired faster if you need the extra +2P+4S quicker.
