This is a pretty basic Kamikaze blitz, with ship control and anti news splashed in to make sure you can get that blitz explosion in with the least distractions possible.

id suggest putting in some miners, and an SCC(the card where you pay 91isk to blow up a starbase thats taken damage)

60 isk per turn

u need a SCC , badger I , badger II , a mining ship, sisters, icefield, slavemines.
that is a 7 card combo if u go for 4 cards each in a deck thats 28 = half of the deck. thats too much imo
the combo is quite expensive and even more expensive as u will have to pay SCC for getting 3 bager mark II.
well conclussion => u missed the topic and i dont think this combination is playable

Second, combos are generally very bad without some way to protect them, or utilise the income. And theyre especially bad when they take that many cards to set up

The key is to work out the money curve and put cards in that support that then focus on the rest of the deck. Pulling in 10-12 ISK should be enough for a blitz deck I would say.We shall seed the stars with our scions and reap that harvest.

Re:Minmatar Kamikaze Blitz - 2007/01/15 01:39This deck looks too slow to me. I have had good results with a Gallente cruiser rush deck. The idea is to get to roughly 5.5 income by turn three, and bringing out one 6 cost cruiser or 5 cost frigate a turn, starting turn 3. By turn 6 or 7, it is often game over.
It seems hard to me to be much faster than this. The cheap Minmatar frigates are fast, sure, but there are not enough card draws to feed your economy.
Judging from the posts I see here, I am not nearly as enamored of news as most of the players here.
It seems to me that the game is only as slow as your opponent allows, and if you can't beat the cruiser rush, you're going to lose more than you win.

(you discard two ship with kamikaze ability, so that trial and error increase the kamikaze ability of your ships in play by two)

Re:Minmatar Kamikaze Blitz - 2007/01/20 14:34hi calmdown, for my tastes your about 2 short on locations so i would add 2 x tourist resort (removing 2 x remenant of V) it will provide income and potential extra income for other regions you clear out with your news. Im presuming your just doing a massive military build up at home until you hit critical mass and then blow there starbase up?
leaving the news to deal with threats.
one thing i dont get is the choice of lonetrek as a region? most if not al of your ships are 0 assembly or 1 i dont feel its 5 cost helps your deck much, id replace with khanid kingdom and occupy that as a staging ground maybe to gain additional income maybe enough income to allow the skip of the income phase and increase your draw potential.
At the very least it becomes a cheap throw out region to make tourist resort create more income.
