So at the Fanfest, we have an awesome Friday planned for us, full of CCGing and fun.
However, for those of us arriving on Thursday, once we're done schmoozing devs/drinking beer/kissing Zack in his booth, Im sure there's some people who could do with some games o' cards. I know I could.
So here's the idea: we have a tournament on Thursday. We have no official space, but we can easily find some tables, and failing that, there's always hotel rooms. It'll be free to enter, I'll provide the prizes. It'll be a great chance for people to playtest their decks. It may also give some of the Devs a chance to play if they like
Date: 09/11/06 Time: 17:00 hours start Format: 5 rounds swiss, to be altered depending on player numbers, with top 4/8. Prizes: Rares!
In addition, if anyone arrives too late for the start, you'll be able to play and take some game losses. You won't win, but at least you'll get gaming in
I'll be there to organise all of this, and given the seating situation it will be off the cuff, but it should be a laugh and a good way for us all to meet eachother!

thx for the hint, but Munster is too far away for me poor student and i have to work that weekend. I need to convert more magic dudes in my area
