3 turn victories - 2006/11/04 14:59 Considering I was surprised about it myself when it happened, I thought I'd share it. I think 3 turns is about the minimum required turns to win a game. While there might be 2 turn victories, they would statistically be extremely unlikely.

Anyway here's how it went:

Turn 1:
- 2 ISK income (2 ISK remains)
- Forgotten Paradise (5 ISK remains)
- Advanced Shipyard (3 ISK remains)
- Crucifier (1 ISK remains)

Turn 2:
- 2 ISK income (3 ISK remains)
- Ginnungagap (2 ISK remains)
- Scordite, sacrifice FP (1 ISK remains)
- Use ginnungagap to pull FP into play (3 ISK remains)
- Crucifier (1 ISK remains)
- Burst (0 ISK remains)

Turn 3:
- 5 ISK income (5 ISK remains)
- Central Fleet Command (0 ISK remains)
- Attack with all ships, deal 7 damage.


Of course I was kind of lucky my opponent didn't get a ship or sentry gun out during the first 2 turns, or this would not have worked

I'd be interested to know if anyone has any more viable 3 turn wins as this one relies on 7 cards being in the first 9 you draw.

Turn 1 - Sansha Scout Outpost, 1 isk remaining
Turn 2 - Slasher, 2 isk remaining
Turn 3 - 2x Breacher


To be honest, though, being able to do it is very rare. Forgotten Paradise certainly helps, although youre giving the means to defeat your attack to your opponent by giving him 3 ISK too (for an Adaster's Disaster, for example).

A lot of game end on turn 4/5/6 though - that's when most Military decks can break other decks that don't come out strong enough.
