Selling off my entire collection - HUGE - 2007/05/14 02:55Hi, I have a collection of about 3500 cards that I want to sell!!! I'm getting ready to go off to college this Fall and need a way to pay for education, so since I doubt I'll have much time to play I am liquidating a lot of the games I've amassed over the years (I have 1000's of Magic and Hecatomb cards + D&D paraphernalia). As for this set I'll tell you as much about it as a can (I actually do not know very much about the game- only that I demoed it at GenCon last year, bought a ton of boosters and didn't have anyone to play against. One of my friends and I both made a deck from these cards and played once.) The breakdown is:
This is the entire set minus Apocalypse. I know I have at least one full foil set of the locations, maybe more than one. If you want to ask me questions as to certain foil cards I will be happy to assist.
If you are serious about buying this collection send me an offer. The best offer I get will receive the collection. Please realize that the winner will be responsible for the actual shipping cost. The total weight is between 15-20lbs (I just used a "stand-on" weigher so not very accurate).
I can assure you that this is NOT a "bottom of the barrel" collection with all the cards picked through and all the good cards pulled out. All of the cards are directly out of booster packs. If you were going to buy this many packs it would cost approximately $650.
P.S. if this doesn't sell I plan to make "repacks" of the cards and suggestions for pricing would be appreciated.

The amount of bids you should get will be great. $600 may be asking a bit much though as people will mostly be after the rares......saying that I'm just starting and need the commons/uncommons badly --- maybe you should split it into 2 auctions (one for rares, one for commons/uncommons) .... just my 2 cents,.....or 2 pence been from the UK!

Re:Selling off my entire collection - HUGE - 2007/05/23 00:42I didn't mean to say I expect $600, only that that is about the cost for the # of packs retail (actually it is a bit more) also if someone didn't want the common/uncommon because of postage I could easily cut them from the rares.
Also i would post them on ebay but i looked for other EVE cards there but didn't see any - made me think that there wouldn't be a market there.
