2x Hired Enforcer (NEED 2 more, I know) 4x Stubborn Mechanic 4x Mind Clash
Strategy: The Impairor is simply there for early mining and later defense for my bigger ships. The Tormentor has to be (imo) the best mining ship out there. Plop a Hired on there and he's almost unstoppable defense wise.
First thing I do is drop Molden. Cheap, good bonus to income, and lowers my upgrade. From there I drop Dam and go and nab Araknor. Fourth turn I grab Slave Mines and poof, 30+ ISK a turn.
Drop Lonetrek and combo with Mammoth to bring in 3 ships a turn w/o assembly. Use Araknor to keep my hand up and nab more mining ships with the Bestowers.

Ice Ore kills your Impairors. I'd run an extra slave mines instead, and two more of something else (probably mercenary base ; if you lose that outer region you're mining in, you'll probably lose the game). This could also be somewhere to make room for your second Ark.
You dont have much decent very early game (turn 2/3) income cards. If you get no Impairor, Pyroxeres is useless for that. I'd drop the Pyrox and replace it with something like Hedbergite.
Your killer strategy revolves around using Lonetrek to assemble a Mammoth and bring some ships into play, but your deck only has two combat worthy ships in - Crucifier and Omen - one of which is assembly one anyway, and not really that big. You really need to have some larger ships in there. With your large income, you should be fine using anything up to and including battleships. Personally though, with all that income, I use Arbitrators. A couple of days ago I finished a game with an Arbitrator shooting a starbase for nearly 400 damage

Re:Almost Speed Deck - 2006/11/07 02:58I've got 1 Apocolypse and 1 Arbitrator that are beggin to be used. Wouldn't mind imploying that Augoror either. I think the best thing would be to just replace those Impariors with 4 Celestis. Good all around. Patrol 2, Trade 2, and forces my opponents to waste ISK. I LOVE the Guardians, just don't know exactly how to use them. A good combo would also be to use the Osprey to hasten the assembly of my ships and then use Subsidized for the income generation.
Choices, choices. I like the Celestis idea the most. Think I'll leave the Ice Cores (love the 4 ore) and replace Pyroxeres with 2 Hedbergites and 2 merc base (Only have 2 of each, well at least until my local gamestore gets their oder in on Thursday).

Re:Almost Speed Deck - 2006/11/07 09:00Personally, I'd get rid of your 4 Mammoth and Bestowers. You really dont have enough ships for all out combat, and you dont yet own enough assembly 2/3 beasts to make the Mammoths work.
Try using Punishers, Augurors, Coercers, and Cormorants. They're all monsters in their own right. And all assembly 1!

Re:Almost Speed Deck - 2006/11/07 14:09Why the Bestowers? They have Haul 4 and nab me a miner ship. If I replace the Bestowers it would be with Sigils. I need more cards and I will get more cards on Thursday. Def need another Appocolypse and 2 more Aurgorors. Might throw in my Guardians as well. I understand what your saying about being light on combat ships. There are ideas that I just like, though. The deck seems to work, even being slightly slow. I will toss in some of my misc ships (Appoc, Rupture, Prophecy) and let you know how it goes.During an argument about the color of Amarr: The Executioner does NOT look like a yellow chicken.
