1) Mining Timing (like the sound of that): Let's take a simple example. My Starbase, one Scout out, one Pyroxeres out, Scout mining. My income is 4 ISK(2 starbase, 2 mining Pyroxeres). During Management Phase I play "Astral Mining Inc." "Instead of gaining income from mining commands at the beginning of your income step, you gain it at the end of your turn." At the end of this turn, do I get another 2 ISK for mining? So can I double my mining outcome for the first round Astral Mining Inc. is in play? And during my next turn, when I forfeit my income for a second card draw, do I get my mining income at the end of turn?
We decided "yes" on both because nowhere we could find something telling us the opposite.
2) Characters: Some folks were worried about the following. Can you "unmount" your character from one of your ships again? I said "why not, dock that ship and undock it without your character again!" but I guess some people weren't sure about that.Nothing is as simple as it looks.

I used Manmon Aralila: AGENT Sacrifice a ship in your dock: Gain ISK equal to its printed price. Play this ability only once each turn.
sacrificed a small mining ship it was piloting before, for the missing 1 ISK that I needed to pay for Metropolis

Re:After our first Exiled rounds... - 2007/09/03 16:23Agreed. From the Characters section of the Exiled rulebook: "Characters aboard your starbase (dock) are agents and gain the listed agent ability for as long as they stay there." You cannot be a Pilot while in dock.

I love when someone does a drive-by to disrupt my mining while I have Astral Mining Inc. in play. They normally only do it once.

No. You don't skip your income for the turn, you skip your income earned during the income phase. Astral Mining Inc forces the Mining income to occur outside of income phase, and it therefore becomes not relevant to the extra card.-Ryuteki, Owner of the Rules!
