Re:Fairfax, VA -Demos & Constructed event - Nov 18th - 2008/12/03 13:36 Myself, RedX, and two others meet on a regular basis to play Magic: The Gathering on Friday nights at Game Parlor usually starting around 5ish pm until 10-10:30pm. We used to work some EVE games into our Friday nights, but haven't really done so in the past several months as the game's support has dwindled to a near-stop. But I think we, or at least a few of us, myself included, would be happy to play some casual EVE, and bringing our old decks is hardly a hassle on our part. Granted, we probably wouldn't be up for playing EVE the whole night, as we do love our Magic multiplayer games, I'm sure we'd be more than willing to play a few hours of EVE. By the way, I typically can get to Game Parlor myself, along with my brother, at an earlier time, between 3 and 4pm. Let me know if you're interested in coming by

Re:Fairfax, VA -Demos & Constructed event - Nov 18th - 2008/12/04 13:26 I used to play MTG. What formats do you play?

i was curious about EVE because i snagged some product at an ultra reduced price. I love buying dying TCG because they become so cheap.

Anyways, maybe i'll join you guys for some MTG. Probably not this week but next perhaps.

Do you play any limited formats like drafts for MTG? To be honest that was always my favorite format, casual or competitive. When you buy packs in bulk it really becomes affordable.

Re:Fairfax, VA -Demos & Constructed event - Nov 18th - 2008/12/04 15:50 We mostly play 4+ player multiplayer games, very casual. It's much more about having a good time than winning I usually bring some competitive Legacy/1.5 decks with me too to play some 1v1s on the side sometimes. We don't really draft, though I too used to love it, however there are of course more people that show up than us for Friday Night Magic, usually at least 10 more poeple, and lots of times some of them will be looking to do a draft.
