Several Questions ? - 2008/01/18 07:57 Hello !

1/ I would like to know how many copies can i put to my deck for one character ? Is it restricted ?

2/ What does "Comes into play" means in EVE for a ship (ex: Bantam) ? At the moment of fully assembled ? dock ? Warp in Home region ? Or Simply at the moment you play it ?

3/ What's happened if my oppenent play Liberty Towerupgraded and then a ship and in response i cast Exiled from the Empire to target his ship ? Does he returns his ship to his hand ?

Thank You

Four, just like any other card. There are no uniqueness rules (at the moment) so you can have all four in play at the same time.

After you play a card it goes onto the "Pile" and your opponent has a chance to destroy it with news (e.g. Exiled From the Empire). If they don't it then comes into play, you'd get your Bantam card draw and it'd go into assembly.

The Liberty Tower is a one shot deal. If it had been upgraded on a previous turn it has no affect on anything.

Liberty Tower is worded "went to the scrapyard from play" if the ship was destroyed whilst on the Pile (as you describe) then it was never "in play" and upgrading Liberty Tower at the end of the turn will not return it to hand.

Hope this helps.

Indeed it isn't. It's a very common question among new players. It's a one shot deal because anything else would be way overpowered. The wording doesn't really give it away and the fact that they put the second part so far down doesn't help it either. Such a layout usually indicates a separate ability. I wonder why they've never errata'ed the card...

Re:Several Questions ? - 2008/01/19 05:48 There are two parts:

Part 1 is making a change to the upgrade rule.

You may upgrade only during your an end step, rather than your management.

The second is the ability, which should be worded with a "When this starbase is upgraded" to make it a triggered ability, rather than a static ability. This is the case, because as said above, it is ridiculously powerful if it's not the case
