I'm a French player of EVE CCG, but in France it's really hard to find some EVE cards.
So I turned my eyes on the internet, looking for an online substitute of EVE cards.
I found LackeyCCG, a small software that allow players to play to any CCG as it is really easy to create a plugin for his favourite CCG.
Now, you will say why Lackey when there is OCTGN ? Well, I tried OCTGN a bit and I really don't like it. The Deck Editor is bad, and cards are hidden by big colored block of text.
LackeyCCG features multiplayer game up to 10 simultaneous players, a master server with games list and chat, a fully integrated Deck Editor, a 3D environment, an on-the-fly card image download system, a Windows and Mac compatibility and a very easy way to create a plugin of your favourite CCG.
I personally prefer it.

How does one go about finding other players though? I'm thinking the usual IRC channels, but hopefully it wont be long before Revv has added the forum to the website and we can use that.

I've downloaded it but until that works I'm preferring OCTGN, the UI is almost equally quirky and I don't want to struggle with input as well. Besides: not supporting different KB layouts borders on arrogance in my book...

To install the plugin, go on Preference Tab, Plugin subtab, update the PluginFinder and look at the plugin list. Select "eve" and "low quality" and clic on Update plugin from URL.
Then, clic on Load plugin on the top of the page.
There is a tutorial on my website with pictures of what I'm saying.

When you clic on "Update plugin from URL", wait a couple of minutes during the plugin download, you should see a percent progress number on top right of the window for each downloaded file. When the download is finished, you get a message in the message box saying you can restart the software, and the percent progress number should disappear.
When you see the message, be sure the selected plugin (near the "Load" button) is eve and clic on the "Load" button.
If it doesn't work, try to delete the Lackey folder and try again.
