Archaelogical Site? - 2007/09/08 10:51 I was wondering whether the Archaelogical Site win might be a bit more viable now. Here's an attempt to see:

Amarr: Holder Tower

Dam Torsad
Insmother
Stain

Archaelogical Site x4
Bastion of Blood x4
Hemorphite x4
Reflection of Time x2

Blood Battery
EMP Minefield
Reinforced Shields
Warp Disruption Field

Crucifier x4

Forsaken Ruins x4

Stubborn Mechanic x4

Re:Archaelogical Site? - 2007/09/08 15:53 Consider "Pledged to the Covenant." I'd also consider dropping Stain for Gunginap, and adding in a Scordite - that way you can fetch two ArcSites with Dam Torsad, then fetch a Scordite to destroy one, and bring it back into play using Gunginap.

Out of Gallante you could also look at Dam Torsad + Problem Solver, and their Battery is great for starbase defense.

I tried playing an ArcSite deck, and discovered that once it was survivable enough, I was destroying my opponents militarily long before I drew my fourth Site or Reflections.

Re:Archaelogical Site? - 2008/03/03 03:40 I stumbled across a card, i think it will help. "Imperial Trade Registry". It allows you to forgo a draw to search your market for a location of your choice. The draw back is that you can no longer play locations into your Home region, but that is easily fixxed by playing the AD right before playing it.
