all people out of a region - 2008/03/29 07:04ok...just new at this game and was wondering this; In a situation where all people are killed off in an outer region ( no one left ), does the last person to have controlled it still collect income from it, or do they have to play fresh ships into it to reclaim it ( hopefully before the other guy gets in there )?

Re:all people out of a region - 2008/03/29 17:21You have to have ships present in a region to control it. Therefor, if all ships are destroyed within a outer region (you always control your homeregion, ships or not), it is neutral, and no-one recieves income from it.
If your income is primarily dependant on an outer region, its a valid strategi for your opponent, to either commit alot of ships to a suicide mission, to clear the region. Or, if he's smart, play cards like Forsaken Ruins [news], on the region in question.
