The two more are people I live with who build out of my cards, so basically we had a two-house group, which is fairly unsustainable. I'd still play if we had managed to develop a larger group, but the other 4 who came once or twice were all coming from too far away or just weren't interested enough to stick with Eve at our store on a regular basis. I didn't feel like hosting any more 4-6 player tournaments in a forlorn hope of getting new players.-Ryuteki, Owner of the Rules! I fear this sort of trend spreading rapidly the longer we have to wait for any kind of new set or simply new information revealing a hopefully healthy prospect for the game :| The once-a-month visit from Zack or some dude serving in game design to the forums with a comment like "it's cool guys, it's cool, everything's gonna be fine..." is great, but in actuality blows, hard. There are so few words of reassurance and 'good prospect' coming from the people working in the company themselves that it promotes a sense of "well, it was a good run, time to throw in the towel"...
Sigh... I'm ranting again... I promised myself I wouldn't do that... ^^;;

What scares me is , even if the person in charge fell into a coma , dosn't his boss realize it? or they don't miss him? or his boss and his boss's boss also joined him in a coma?

I don't fit into one box , i'm use to running my own companies , I see myself more as a Consultant , becuase I would make suggestions that effect multiple departments. I have been talking to several people , I just need to talk to the right person.
If they realize I will make them a lot more $ on all thier products , maybe someone will take a chance. It's funny though , when you can do "remarkable things" "managers" tend to fear you , always worried they will lose thier job to me. No "game" company has a job description for what I do.
My refrences are amazing in that I have worked for United Artist , Romstar , CapCom (Arcade division as Area Manager / Consultant / Game tester) and owned several of my own buisnesses.
When I owned an Arcade I ran Tornado Foosball Tournaments. One year I ran a tournament so BIG that the only tournament that was bigger was the World Champoinships (whic I placed 2nd in an event . But when I shined that bright I must make someone look bad? Becuase after that the Tornado manufactur "sponserd" my competition (suppling free parts to them but not me). I mention the tournament because it was something people said an independant buisness could not pull off and I did , in fact I made more profit in those 4 days than you can imagine.
The problem of making something extremly sucsessfull is you need to know what Everyone wants , The Consumer (The Player) The Manufacture , The Distributors and the "Vendors" (The Store owners). Now , I have been envolved at every level of this process and I seem to be the only person that can make Everyone happy. I've been told that is my "Gift".
The problem is , what would my Job Descriprion be? How does one apply for the "Job" I would do? Thats why I tend to use the word Consultant. Maybe they need a Job called "Idea Man". I thinks thats what i'll nickname myself , lol The Idea man! .
I have talked to a couple people but like you , they all seem to have gone somewhere. So lets see. Hang in there though I have a good feeling about this game.
