Structures: 3x Advanced Shipyard 1x Early Warning System 2x EMP Minefield
Sidedeck: 2x Forsaken Ruins 2x Impending Doom 2x Information at a Cost 1x Mind Control 4x Crucifier 1x Merlin 1x Censor Office
*The Hired Enforcers were an ill-considered last-minute change to the deck. They would have been extremely helpful ...if Caldari were allowed to actually play them... Amusingly, they didn't show up until the third round of the tournament, at which point it was decided that he would just have to keep them in his deck, not play them, and sideboard them out each game.

Re:2nd Place, Origins 2007 - 2007/07/12 19:59The idea of this deck is to get a Bantam out as fast as possible then pull out a kyonoke pit, drop any sight with minerals on it and BAM you got 16 ISK on the 4th turn, more then enough to drop a large frigate or too.
This was my very first constructed deck, and after playing it I know lots of changes I'd make to it now (more small ships, much drop down to 52 cards). Even with the mistake of making a 60 card deck and having the Hired Enforcers in the deck worked really well. Thoughts?"ASK ME ABOUT MY WEINER!" ~Sorth

Re:2nd Place, Origins 2007 - 2007/07/13 12:28From the games we played at the end it ran really smooth. It can only get better if you streamline it a bit.

No errata, you are indeed correct. As I had noted, Tyler had made some last-minute changes to his news selection without properly considering the racial restrictions. It was a bit of egg on his face, but he still did quite well despite the dead-weight cards. Tyler was, IIRC, very new to the game at that point.-Ryuteki, Owner of the Rules! From the Tournament Rules: 2.1 Deck Construction Classic: A legal deck consists of 1 starbase, 3 outer regions and a market of at least 52 cards. The market cards can be of any combination of ships, locations, starbase structures and news, but no more than 4 instances of each card. A Classic side deck must be either 0 or 13 cards (see 2.2 Side Decking).
2.2 Side Decking
Before each game except the first game of a match, players receive four minutes to swap cards between their markets and side decks on a one to one card basis. After each match, they must rearrange their market and side deck to their original state.-Ryuteki, Owner of the Rules!
