Scimshit - 2008/08/15 07:12 I havenīt posted a deck jet so here it comes

Fraility Tower
Ginnusgap
Sanshas Scout Outpost
Heaven

4x Angel Ambusher
4x Burst
4x Concord Custom Officer
--> I need those buddies to protect my base (it only have 5 shield)
4x Scyte
4x Scimitar
--> This is my main crew

3x Angel Outlaw
2x Trasher

4x Adasterīs Disaster
4x Armageddon Project
3x Lower Securety

4x Veldspar
4x Omber
4x Sanshas Scout Outpost

4x Home Guard --> To pic scyte or scimitar for a quick shot

How does this deck work:
First destroy enemy Locations and take them with Ginnusgap.
Second upgrad my Starbase so my shios deal double damage. Also provides me a good ambush defense either to protect my base or ginnusgap.
Third step: Destroy all enemy ships. Two Scytes can deal 8 damage to any ship. Itīs really effective. The opponent can only save his ships by docking them. Then his starbase is without defense.
Fourth step: Never play this deck again.
Itīs my oppinion. Thatīs what makes eve soo unbalanced.
Any comments or thoughts. Everything is welcome.

Re:Scimshit - 2008/08/15 08:43 Looks good! Nice balance between the different types of cards. Kestrels might make a handy addition for defence.

Dunno what you mean though about the game being unbalanced... Can you explain?

He means there are a bunch of cards that have extremely high powerlevel.
Such as these:
Ahremen Arkah (first turn region, and keep it)
Scythe (should have 2 assembly, or do just 1 damage)
Scorpion (leaves all other battleships far behind)
Moon Harvester (in multiplayer, it's ridiculous)
Hired Enforcers (this is like a 4 isk reusable instant-assembly frigate)
Insurance Fraud (ridiculous income generator)

Got item?

Re:Scimshit - 2008/08/16 20:45 Oh man I love to explain myselve in english

I do not think that certain cardīs makeīs this game broken. There should always be strong and effective cards. But some of these cardīs provides really bad combos and also insane deckīs. There is no fun in playing againsīt those deckīs.
I told that my deck makes this game unbalanced becaus i think if you play a ship based deck againsīt my deck you will alway loose. (With ship based i mean: build a fleat and crush the enemy starbase)
Do not understand me wrong. I do not want to tell how great I am. Probably i am absolutly wrong with my oppinion about this Scimshit deck.
But now you should understand why i do not like to play this deck and know how i think about the balance of this game.

If not i will try to explain myselve a little bit better

Re:Scimshit - 2008/08/18 00:43 Hired Enfoncers was broken in a fist time because of the speed of the game. Furthermore, Amarr and Gallente won most tournaments, Caldari was behind, Minmatar in the middle.

Then, the game paced. H.E. is always broken, I guess. But this not a reason to remove it. The game is more balanced right now. Every faction has its own 'broken' cards or combos or stategies. And it's cool. It's not perfect, because to be fast is an advantage. To start is often to win, in a challenge with 2 equal players and equal quality decks.

But more and more slow-paced game do well. I am sure that the Iteron-Gallente deck is the best. But remove H.E., it's very good too, even with metagame.

So, not the best environnement but a good one. I hope a new expansion will see the daylight and gives us the same Exiled gived.

Bye. (Explain myself in english is not my cup of tea too) ^^

Re:Scimshit - 2008/09/03 04:27 Ahremen Arkah (first turn region, and keep it)
Don't know, never seen it in use.
Scythe (should have 2 assembly, or do just 1 damage)
Agree, this ship is way overpowered
Scorpion (leaves all other battleships far behind)
Perhaps, but I think battleships are a bit underpowered given their cost & assembly times.
Moon Harvester (in multiplayer, it's ridiculous)
Agree, I think it's a bit overpowered in single player, multi it's stupid.
Hired Enforcers (this is like a 4 isk reusable instant-assembly frigate)
Probably a bit overpowered, but not excessively so. I think it should have cost a bit more.
Insurance Fraud (ridiculous income generator)
Agree
