It gains Sentry (This ship cannot attack) for as long as it stays in play. Home Guard cannot leave play.

Would playing mind clash on Home Guard allow the ship you searched for to attack???
I'm struggling with the "for as long as it stays in play" part. This leads me to believe that no matter what you do to Home Guard the "searched ship" will still have Sentry.
Thoughts???
