If you warp into a region that is either uncontrolled or under your control, can your ship activate a command that same turn?

Yes. Ships may perform any number of actions and commands until they warp into an enemy controlled region, at which point they stop everything and wait for the battle phase.

you can activate ambush then warp in a region or i.e. mining? (Considering there's no opponent's ships there.) I thought warping into a outer region even if it's not controlled means attacking/invding the place so no commands should be active. From this respond I can only assume that you can fly in, activate command (i.e. patroling) all in single turn if place's not controlled.
