White Wolf is happy to announce that a new Second Genesis league season will begin in February. Running through April 20, this short season is designed not only to kick off the year, but to lead directly into a new format in May.
Due to the great success of the first league over the holidays, this season will closely emulate the new tournament rules adopted over the course of the trial. This includes a new minimum group size of six players, and the elimination of mandatory finals rounds. All participants will receive support, while those players scoring highest at the end of the season will be eligible for bigger prizes.
Requirements to Host
Each group must schedule and run four sanctioned events before April 20.
Each event must be held in a sanctioned location (shops and clubs registered on the website)
At least one limited and one constructed event must be held, the remaining 2+ events' formats are left up to their organizers. No events may be multiplayer.
Each event must consist of six or more players to be considered sanctioned.
All events must be recorded by our tournament software, the Holder.
All events must be reported within one week of their scheduled completion.
Support
For each event held, an organizer is eligible to receive one new tournament kit. Each kit contains 8 promo cards, two booster packs and a foil card. Additional kits may be requested for larger groups.
At the completion of the league, the player with the most cumulative points, as recorded by the Holder, will receive an Art of EVE book. Runners up will receive other EVE merchandise.
